These terms apply to the Parents Weekend in the Sonoma Valley and replace the general WanderRock Booking Agreement for this event. They are deliberately short. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you pay rather than afterwards.
This transaction is not covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund.
Upon cancellation of the transportation or travel services, where the passenger is not at fault and has not canceled in violation of any terms and conditions previously clearly and conspicuously disclosed and agreed to by the passenger, all sums paid to the seller of travel for services not provided will be promptly paid to the passenger, unless the passenger advises the seller of travel in writing, after cancellation. This provision does not apply where the seller of travel has remitted the payment to another registered wholesale seller of travel or a carrier, without obtaining a refund, and where the wholesaler or provider defaults in providing the agreed-upon transportation or service. In this situation, the seller of travel must provide the passenger with a written statement accompanied by bank records establishing the disbursement of the payment, and if disbursed to a wholesale seller of travel, proof of current registration of that wholesaler. California law requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account or bond. This business has a trust account.
CST No. 2142228
A place for two adults at a three-night weekend at a private estate in Kenwood, California, arriving Thursday 5 November 2026 and departing Sunday 8 November 2026. The price is $4,250 per couple and includes accommodation in a private bedroom, all meals and beverages, all weekend activities, dinners out, and an afternoon in wine country. It does not include flights, ground transportation, travel insurance or personal expenses.
This is a gathering for parents of neurodiverse young adults. It is not therapy, not a clinical programme, and not a substitute for professional support. No assessment, diagnosis or treatment of any kind is offered or implied.
A deposit of 50% ($2,125) confirms your place. The deposit is non-refundable, because we commit to the property on the strength of it.
The balance of $2,125 is due on 22 August 2026. If the balance is not received by that date we may treat the booking as cancelled and retain the deposit.
Bookings made after 22 August 2026 are payable in full at the time of booking.
Cancellation is only effective when we receive it in writing.
On or before 22 August 2026: the deposit is retained. You owe nothing further.
After 22 August 2026: we retain the full amount paid. You will instead be issued a credit toward a future WanderRock trip, valid for two years from the date of issue, less any costs we cannot recover.
Transfers. At any point before the weekend, and at no charge, you may pass your place to another couple, or move your payment to a future WanderRock trip, provided you tell us in writing and we are able to accommodate it. We would always rather find you a way through than keep your money.
If you leave the weekend early, for any reason, no refund is due for the unused portion.
We may cancel the weekend at any time before it begins. If we do, you will receive a full refund of everything you have paid us, or a credit toward a future trip, whichever you prefer. Our liability in that event is limited to the sums you have paid us, and does not extend to flights, accommodation or other arrangements you have made independently — which is one of several reasons we recommend travel insurance.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, curtailment, medical costs and personal belongings. It is inexpensive relative to what it protects.
The house is a private home, rented under an agreement that binds us and, through us, you. By booking you agree to the following. These exist because twenty adults share a house for three nights, and because a single incident can cost the weekend for everyone.
Removal. If we ask you to leave for any of the above, you leave at your own cost and no refund of any kind is due. We will not do this lightly and we have never yet had to.
You are responsible for damage you or your party cause to the property or its contents, beyond ordinary wear. The property manager may charge us for such damage, and we will pass those charges on to you at cost.
Tell us at the time of booking about any dietary requirements, allergies, medical conditions or mobility needs. We will do our best to accommodate them, and we would rather know early than improvise on the day. The property is a restored historic house on two acres and is not step-free throughout; ask us if this matters to you.
You are responsible for your own medication and for carrying adequate supplies.
Weather, availability and circumstance being what they are, we may change elements of the weekend before or during it. We will tell you as soon as we know. The house, the dates and the inclusive nature of the price will not change.
You attend at your own risk. WanderRock LLC is not liable for injury, illness, loss or damage arising from your use of the property, its grounds, its facilities or any activity, except where caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
